Time to lose weight fast in Grapevine, TX
www.monsterXcamp.com
So I avoided the scales and gym completely for a few months while being super busy with opening the new Monster X Camp – Kickboxing and Krav Maga facility (because I know I’m not the only one ready to lose weight fast in Grapevine, TX). I knew I was breaking all the common sense rules of healthy living. I was exercising rarely, eating large portions, enjoying a soft drink with dinners or lunches, I was (of course) at my favorite Starbucks a few times A DAY, I wasn’t sleeping well…maybe 4-5 hours per night, tops…the big no no. These are all key ingredients to the recipe of gaining weight fast. It was all capped off of course, by my decadent weekends of eating however I wanted to. So, I’m home about a month ago and hit the scale while literally wanting to HIT the scale as I stepped off; time to get serious… and that means first taking stock of the situation. Drum roll….
I was 332 pounds! Granted, I am 6’8” tall but 330+ pounds at any height is NOT good news! Ouch. I have not weighed that much in a long time. In fact 275-280 is my normal walking weight… so to be 50 pounds over that was a real shocker. Now granted, I took this weight before going to bed while wearing clothes. So it was a little high, as my normal weight readings are done in the morning in the raw… but clothes and nightly water doesn’t explain fifty pounds.
This morning the scales said 306.2…phhhew…much better but still wanting to lose weight and lose weight fast! I did a liver detox on top of changing up my workout and eating patterns, and all of those Venti White Mochas from Starbucks have now turned into Trenta green teas with light ice (place sad face here) but I’m getting closer with just a bit to go. Still got some work to do. No complaining though…I’m enjoying it. It’s just time to get all the more serious- and how! So here’s the plan for now to help me ” lose weight fast “… I will develop a more sophisticated plan in the next week or so.
1. 1500 cals per day
2. 100 cals each hour
3. NO BIG MEALS
4. Whole foods as much as possible.
5. No more cheese. (another sad face here)
6. No more soft drinks.
7. In the gym mon-fri (doing High Intensity weight training on Mon, Wed, Fri, and cardio on Tuesday and Thursday, and about to start rolling (aka Grappling) with my students in my night classes.
So far today, I’m on track. I had my first meal at 8:30am, and eating accordingly throughout the day as needed. I am about to jump into my classes with some of my students in a bit, and then getting home to make sure I have the most important part of the complex that there is….SLEEP! So….let the work continue.
By the way, I have to say that one key I used to be able to lose weight fast, was the liver detox I used. It only made sense that since the majority of your metabolic rate and how you metabolize things came from the liver, why not give it a tune-up. I got the detox from ‘My fit foods’ in Southlake, TX. It was a bit expensive there, so when I found out the detox recipe, I kept buying the milk thistle there and then got the rest at Sprouts (a local health food / organic food store in the Southlake / Keller, TX. area. The detox is:
Half cup of unsweetened Not from concentrate cranberry, 3 tbl spoons Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, half a lemon squeezed, One tablet of milk thistle (I will update with the mg amount). Didn’t taste the best, but it REALLY helped.
Remember, the key to anything regardless if you want to lose weight fast, or get into a new routine of anykind, is to have a plan to follow and a reminder alert go off for every routine change you need. Even a bad plan works better than just winging it.
